**JOB PURPOSE**

Our Stakeholder Coordinator for Community Programs is the mastermind who keeps Ve’ahavta’s programs, projects, and campaigns streamlined and interconnected to maximize efficency and effectiveness. The success of the Community Mobilization Department relies heavily on the efforts of the individual who fills this role.

As part of the Community Mobilization team, and reporting to the Director of Development, you will join a passionate group of change-makers bringing opportunities to community members to serve our clients who are facing poverty and homelessness, while bringing substantial additonal meaning and value to the lives of our voluteers and donors.

More specifically, through the coordination of volunteer and fundraising opportunities, as well as community stakeholder events, you will build and enhance Ve’ahavta’s recruitment and stewarsdship efforts in order to further our mission and deepen our impact.

As the “first face” of Ve’ahavta for new volunteers, you will guide them through engaging, onboarding, training, and orientation in preparation for their volunteer experience. With your superb interpersonal skills, you will build relationships with stakeholders to advance their journeys in order to further their involvement and growth. As the key point person for volunteers, you will use your customer service savviness to ensure that they are supported along their journey.

Your attention to detail and your system-oriented nature will be valuable as you ensure that both volunteer and donor data is captured and tracked for the sake of relationship-building and reporting.

In this people-facing role, you will have the opportunity to change lives by providing individuals with opportunities, and support, to do some of the most meaningful “work” they will ever do.

- Subject matter expertise in community programming and working with stakeholders
- Educational training and field experience in a related field
- Strong project management and organizational skills

- Experience working with volunteers and donors
- Sensitivity while working with a vulnerable population
- Strong technical skills/interest in technology
