In this permanent, part-time position you will play an integral role in supporting our Factory Team with the day to day support of administrative, procurement and supply chain operations. You will put your skills to work by providing exemplary planning and organizational skills and spend your time purchasing, planning, forecasting, and monitoring products throughout the supply chain to support our business in the following ways:
**Key Job Responsibilities**:
- Maintaining accurate inventory management of all factory stock and providing month end reports.
- Providing administrative and operational support for the Factory.
- Requesting quotes, preparing and issuing purchase orders to suppliers.
- Analyzing packing slips and invoices to ensure accuracy and inspection of goods delivered.
- Ensuring timely resolution of supplier issues and shipment discrepancies and coordinating return of defective products.
- Organizing and optimizing inventory in the stockroom of all window parts and components.
- Developing and maintaining strong and collaborative supplier relationships.
**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage priorities in order to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience using an ERP software is an asset.
- WHIMIS certification an asset but will be provided.
**Environmental & Physical/Mental Demands**:
- Sustain a high level of professionalism at all times within a fast paced and spontaneous business environment.
- The physical demands of this job require the employee to have good coordination and be able to lift up to 25lbs.
- Must be committed to working safely and follow all health and safety policies.
**Total Pay Package**:Competitive compensation and extended benefits plan including, health and dental available at 6 months.
