Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Contract Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Supply Chain department, you will be responsible for leading procurement activities and managing contracts to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement Planning and Strategy
    • Develop and implement procurement plans to meet business objectives
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers
    • Develop and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services
  • Contract Management
    • Manage contracts from initiation to close-out, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
    • Develop and maintain contract documentation, including contracts, agreements, and amendments
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve contract-related issues and disputes
  • Supply Chain Coordination
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality products and services
    • Monitor and report on supply chain performance metrics, including lead times, costs, and quality
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead and manage a team of procurement and contract management professionals
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement process improvements

Requirements

  • Education
    • Post-secondary education in Business, Law, Engineering, Science, IT, or technical discipline
  • Experience
    • Minimum 10 years of progressive contracting experience, preferably in procurement of goods, services, and construction
  • Skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and enterprise resource planning tools
