Job Title: Retail Buyer

At Trapper Trading Post, we are seeking a skilled Retail Buyer to join our team. As a Retail Buyer, you will be responsible for arranging products according to our planogram, establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers, and overseeing the distribution of merchandise to our outlets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Arrange products according to planogram to ensure optimal store displays and customer experience.
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms.
  • Oversee the distribution of merchandise to our outlets to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our customers and respond to their inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Review requirements of our establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, ensuring that it meets our quality and pricing standards.
  • Supervise the work of other buyers to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Visit trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events to stay up-to-date on the latest products and trends.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a 30-hour workweek.
  • English as the primary language of work.
