Digital Marketing Account Manager

**Summary**:

- This role will be working out of our Ottawa, ON office with work from home flexibility._

**Here's what you'll do**:

- Create and maintain positive, long-term relationships with clients to build trust
- Manage daily accounts of all sizes by representing your team externally with clients
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the clients' market position, their offerings, unique attributes, and the competitive environment
- Investigate and determine clients goals, wants and needs
- Plan, develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy for clients
- Manage client input and feedback for all projects, providing direction and timelines
- Manage day-to-day client communication and ongoing relationships as it relates to current, new and upcoming projects
- Proactively and identify upsell opportunities as it pertains to digital marketing and/or creative
- Visit clients & attend industry events to capitalize on networking and relationship-building opportunities as necessary
- Recommend new projects to increase ROI
- Set up a list of KPIs to track for each client & analyze effectiveness
- Prepare and present reports on clients' progress and performance
- Keep abreast with new trends in digital technology & the industry

**As our next Digital Marketing Account Manager, you will bring**:

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or a related field
- 5+ years of working experience as an Account Manager, Project Manager, or similar role
- Experience with digital marketing software (ex. SEO/SEM and CRM)
- Customer service experience
- Excellent knowledge of digital marketing best practices, tools, technology, and strategies
- Solid organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage personal and team member time, keeping deliverables and deadlines top of mind
- Ability to thrive under pressure and work independently in a fast-paced environment both consistently and positively, as well as be a team player
- Great interpersonal and communication skills including with client leads of all levels from c-suite to entry-level
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company and and clients' success
