The Real Estate and Development Branch is looking for a Real Estate Development Manager, for an indeterminate position. The position is classified as an RÉ-06 ($83,979 to $113,423 per annum). Salary under review.

**DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION**
As a Real Estate Development Manager, you will identify and support the bringing to market, long-term land development opportunities for commercial, industrial, and residential development. Reporting to the Director, Real Estate Policy, and Strategic Development, you will collaborate directly with other division managers regarding optimizing land use of NCC assets for defining and pursuing various activities to develop and implement long-term land development projects.

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS**:
**EDUCATION**
A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with acceptable specialization in business administration, commerce, or some other specialty relevant to the position.

**EXPERIENCE**
A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in real estate projects requiring expertise in market knowledge (conditions and participants), development opportunities multi-stakeholder negotiations, transactions, and agreements.

**KNOWLEDGE**
- Of commercial leasing and land development principles and parameters.
- Of real estate market conditions and stakeholders.
- Of urban planning and development in the City of Ottawa and the Ville de Gatineau.
- Of commercial land development and leasing.
- Of real estate transaction negotiation.

**ABILITIES**
