**IT/Systems Project Manager**

We are looking for an **IT/Systems Project Manager** to join our team to work closely with our core business systems and alongside our IT department. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Technology, this is a profile role that requires strong project management acumen and an understanding of business process in addition to technical expertise.

On any given day, the IT/Systems Project Manager will be working with end users, company leadership, or outside IT/Software vendors. The ability to communicate with many different types of individuals with differing levels of technical understanding will be critical. We have multiple technology projects on the go at any time, in varying sizes & scopes.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and create a plan that aligns with strategic objectives.
- Coordinate and organize all internal and external resources to ensure punctual delivery of all projects within scope and budget.
- Develop, plan and analyze the required resources and standards of each project.
- Conduct team meetings to determine progress and address any concerns/challenges with the appropriate individual(s) while keeping the Vice President, Technology informed.
- Communicate and work effectively with individuals on the business & technical sides of our organization.
- Recommend IT/Systems strategies, policies/procedures, or new solutions by identifying problems, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements.
- Monitor all phases of each project, including expenditures, implementing change where necessary.
- Addresses and helps ‘trouble-shoot’ issues that arise with a project, both with the client and/or internal stakeholders.
- Accurately, effectively manage any sized project with limited supervision.
- Establish and maintain work back schedules and communicate changes to appropriate team members.
- Assign and oversee the daily tasks of any assigned team members while ensuring they are actively working towards established milestones.

**REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS**:

- Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; and 6-8 years’ experience as an IT Project Manager in a Marketing or software development environment successfully executing projects and programs and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have a strong technical background in end-to-end software projects with strong SDLC methodologies experience
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL, Acumatica ERP, Marketo, Salesforce CRM, is strongly preferred
- Skilled in Web Services, API, and Data Modelling along with common project management tools, like Smartsheet or Monday
- Understanding of Microsoft Power BI considered an asset
- PMP or Project Management Certifications are a plus
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, and experience providing guidance in these areas for others
- Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising teams
- Proven ability to take in requirements from end users & business stakeholders and translate those requirements into technical solutions, working with development/technology teams
- Comfortable working in a nimble, fast-paced IT environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
- Demonstrated proficiency working with remote teams, including near & offshore resources
- Experience working in similar roles in the exhibits/tradeshows, live events, advertising, experiential marketing industry is considered a strong asset.
