The **PCN-**Q**uality Improvement Coordinator (PCN-QIC)** is a key point of contact for PCN clinical operations and business operations teams at the Edmonton North Primary Care Network (PCN). This role works in collaboration with all PCN departments to standardize and optimize processes and service delivery to support the delivery of high-quality services and programing for our physician members and their patients.**Position**

The PCN-QIC builds strong relationships with the leadership team, managers and staff, increases PCN program awareness and uptake, and ensures all operational quality related issues are addressed in a positive, timely manner. The PCN-QIC employs principles and tools related to quality improvement to assist PCN staff to improve efficiency, access to services and program delivery in alignment with PCN supported quality improvement initiatives via education, facilitation, coaching and skills training opportunities.**Report to**

Director, Clinical Quality, Evaluation & Innovation**Education**Two (2) to four (4) years of post-secondary education is required
- A Degree in a health or education-related discipline is considered an asset (e.g. healthcare related, education, business, communications and marketing)
- A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered**Experience**Five (5) or more years of relevant experience
- Knowledge, understanding, and skill in delivery of adult learning principles is an asset
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office suite experience (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)**Skills**Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner in addition to being able to identify the most appropriate method of communication
- Build trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to organize time, multi-task and set priorities to meet various deadlines and maintain a flexible schedule
- Able to work with mínimal supervision, organizational skills and ability to prioritize
- Strong follow-through and attention to detail
