The Quality Improvement Coordinator (QIC) is the point of contact for all non-clinical interactions between the Edmonton North Primary Care Network (PCN) and an assigned group of member primary care providers and the teams they work with at their clinic. This role works in collaboration with all PCN departments to provide the best service to member doctors and their clients.This role is based out of the Rundle Health Centre location but will function predominately in clinic offices.**Position**

The QIC builds strong relationships with member physicians and clinic staff, increases PCN program awareness and uptake, and ensures all member issues related to the PCN are addressed in a positive, timely manner. Working under the Medical Home model, the QIC employs principles and tools related to quality improvement to assist primary care providers in improving efficiency, access and clinical care delivery in alignment with PCN-supported quality improvement initiatives via education, coaching and skills training opportunities.**Report to**

Executive Director**Education**
- Two (2) to four (4) years of post-secondary education is required
- A Degree in a health or education-related discipline is considered an asset (e.g. healthcare, education, business, communications and marketing)
- A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered

**Experience**
- Five (5) or more years of relevant experience
- Knowledge, understanding, and skill in delivery of adult learning principles is an asset
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office suite experience (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

**Skills**
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in addition to being able to identify the most appropriate method of communication
- Build trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to organize time, multi-task and set priorities to meet various deadlines and maintain a flexible schedule
- Able to work with mínimal supervision, organizational skills and ability to prioritize
- Strong follow-through and attention to detail
- Strong listening, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
