Job Overview

Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation and Prospecting
- Develop and execute strategies to identify, qualify, and pursue **new business opportunities**, particularly in the **AI, ML, and IT services** domain.
- Leverage tools such as **LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, and industry directories** to generate and manage a robust pipeline of leads.

Business Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients by understanding their business challenges and presenting tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and refine sales materials, including **presentations, case studies, and proposals**, highlighting our AI/ML and IT services.
- Conduct **market research** to identify trends, emerging opportunities, and areas of competitive advantage in the Canadian IT services sector.

Client Engagement
- Develop personalized strategies to address client pain points, emphasizing the value of adopting AI/ML technologies to drive operational efficiency and innovation.
- Conduct **client meetings, demos, and presentations** to showcase our expertise and solutions.
- Foster long-term client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Sales and Negotiation
- Prepare and negotiate **contracts and service agreements**, ensuring mutual satisfaction and profitability.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets by closing deals effectively and efficiently.

Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the delivery and technical teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
- Provide feedback to the product development team based on client interactions and market trends.

Networking and Representation
- Represent the company at **industry events, conferences, and trade shows** to promote our AI/ML and IT services.
- Actively participate in local and national business communities to expand the company's presence across Canada.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- **Proven experience** in business development or sales, preferably in the **AI/ML or IT services** sector.
- Strong background in **lead generation**, pipeline management, and client relationship management.
- Proficiency in **CRM software**, such as Salesforce, to track and manage sales activities effectively.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to articulate complex technological concepts to non-technical audiences.
- **Negotiation expertise** with a proven ability to close high-value deals.
- Knowledge of **Canadian market trends**, regulatory environments, and competitive dynamics in the IT services industry.
- A strategic mindset with strong organizational and project management skills to juggle multiple priorities.
