**Your Opportunity**:
The Project Coordinator assists Central Zone Medical Affairs in implementing harmonized approaches to supporting and managing the AHS Medical Staff (physicians, dentists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, podiatrists and associated students) with a specific focus on special projects that support physician work within the zone.

**Description**:
This position reports to the Manager of Central Zone Medical Affairs and is be responsible for supporting senior team members with current projects and the development of project plans, processes, and Medical Affairs policies within the general framework provided by and in keeping with the priorities identified by Central Zone Medical Affairs Management, They will also play a large role in meeting the responsibility of Medical Affairs to support other AHS portfolios in developing strategies and plans that appropriately engage the AHS Medical Staff as well as providing support to the Medical Leaders in terms of policy development, research, etc and undertake other projects on an ad hoc basis, as determined by Medical Affairs management. All Management and Out Of Scope positions are being reviewed for possible inclusion in the AUPE General Support Services bargaining unit. If this position is impacted, the incumbent will be notified accordingly.

**Required Qualifications**:
Undergraduate degree in communications, business, social sciences or a health discipline and two to five years of experience in a health care setting interacting with physicians.

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Significant additional practical experience could substitute for an undergraduate degree requirement, particularly with extensive physician experience and/or project management. Equivalencies of experience and education will be considered.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to summarize, drafts, and analyze information. Above average computer literacy. Ability to promote a positive attitude and team work, and build wide ranging staeholder relationships. Demonstrated initiative and judgement and Keen attention to detail.
