**About us**

The Central Zone Primary Care Network Committee is a partnership between 12 Primary Care Networks, Alberta Health Services, Alberta Medical Association Accelerating Change Transformation Team, Alberta Health, and other partners. The Committee supports healthcare innovations that are only possible through collaboration between physicians, other healthcare providers and multiple organizations.

Reporting to the Central Zone PCN Committee Operations Lead, this position requires a broad range of administrative, coordination and problem-solving skills to support the work of the Committee, and the ability to work under mínimal guidance and direction.

**Qualifications**

Minimum of 2 years post-secondary in business administration, or a related area. Preference will be given to applicants with an undergraduate degree. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

**Experience**

At least 5 years of administrative/coordination experience in a professional office and/or healthcare environment. Demonstrated experience in project coordination including project scheduling, coordination of activities and reporting.

**Skills**
- High level of knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint; Basic knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with an ability to prioritize the workload and manage working relationships along formal and informal lines across individual and organizational partners.
- Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to direct communication to a a target audience.
- Able to meet deadlines and if unable to do so negotiates an alternative plan.
- Focus on accuracy, attention to detail, quality service.
- Flexible and adaptable, able to work within a changing environment.
- Utilizes active listening skills.
- Models respect and transparency by being open, acting with integrity, sharing resources and knowledge across project delivery teams.
- Able to exercise sound judgment and take initiative, using knowledge of day-to-day operations, key priorities, and urgency of issues.
- The ability to work in a team environment is essential.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Attend and document minutes/actions from all committees, subcommittees, and working groups.
- Support project management by keeping track of contacts, participants, tasks, progress, actions, participation in activities, etc.
- Develop and maintain good document storage processes on shared drives (e.g., SharePoint).
- Coordinate virtual and in-person meetings and event dates, attendance, technology, and logistics.
- Support project financial management by filling in expense claim forms, tracking contractor expenses, participants in events, etc.
- Support project reporting and communication by creating draft plans, reports, slides, visuals for project team to review and build upon
- Support project technology requirements such as creating and managing online surveys, managing online sharing platforms such as Basecamp, using dynamic participation tools such as menti-meter and zoom, etc.
- Work with a variety of software including Adobe, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and more.
- Other duties as required.

**Other Conditions of Employment**
- Home office required (computer and phone will be provided)
- May require travel throughout Central Alberta (Red Deer and surrounding Area).
- May be required to attend meetings and/or events outside of regular business hours

**Notes**
- Number of days/hours of work per week may be negotiated - ranging from 20-40 hours per week.
- Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
- This is a temporary employment position for 18 months with the potential for extension.

Salary commensurate with education and experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 24-38.75 per week

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
