The Facilities Maintenance and Engineering Maintenance Coordinator position provides a unique ability to challenge yourself using your interpersonal, planning, and technical abilities to ensure coordination of site activities throughout all project phases for multiple concurrent projects delivered by a variety of project teams. This position also supports demand and preventative maintenance by reviewing system isolations, coordinating work permits and manages hazardous materials and will become the department champion for our control of hazardous energy program. You will perform and document commissioning activities and maintain facility manuals and site record documentation.

**Required Qualifications**:
Completion of post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field or equivalent.

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Post secondary courses related to contract administration, construction, facility management or a trade journeyman certificate

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Experience in operations & coordinating maintenance & complex projects in an occupied facility. A technology diploma relevant to large acute care facilities, and Instrumentation and building control experience is preferred. National construction safety officer certificate is an asset. Familiarity with the Alberta OH&S act, code and regulation and understanding of prime contractor and owner responsibilities as it relates to maintenance and operation activities, and complex construction projects.
