Founded in 1994, the International Association of Airport Executives Canada serves the management and operations staff at over 300 airports across Canada. IAAE Canada assists airport executives in fulfilling their responsibilities to the airports and communities they serve, through personal and professional development and training.
We deliver a wide range of industry services and professional development opportunities including training, conferences, and the Canadian Airport Industry Accreditation Program.
We are looking for a self-driven **Association Coordinator**, located in the Hamilton, ON area to assist with the management of day-to-day operations. You will be required to attend in-person meetings as required and on short notice. This position will require 20 scheduled but flexible hours of work per week with an hourly wage of $30/hr.
**General Administration**
Record and distribute minutes for Board/Committee calls
Low level website maintenance and updates
Monitor and post on IAAE Canada’s social media and respond as needed.
Endorse other airport associations communications CAC, RCAC and provincial as directed.
Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director and Board of Directors
**Committees**
Schedule and record committee calls; prepare and dispatch agendas, minutes, additional items
Create drafts of policies/programs for input from Committees and Board of Directors. Update said documents until approved for circulation
Oversee and coordinate production of editorial content for bi-annual editions of our Airport Magazine
Create, dispatch, track, and report results of annual Membership surveys from input from committee
Annual Report compilation & creation

Weekly research & assembly of news items
Update photos, Greetings & Association news
Research and post/update and insert links for Upcoming Conferences Update and insert links for upcoming Training Courses
Research and post/update Employment Opportunities
Maintain mailing list (subscriptions/removals)

**Meetings & Conferences**
Coordinate the planning and administration of the annual IAAE Canada - F.O.A.M. Conference and participate in all planning meetings.
CM and Accredited Member Forums
Create Power point presentations, program, create 7+ pages on website with links to online Store
(update\amend as needed)
Enter/track online registration in spreads sheet
Populate attendee spreadsheet via purchases in the online store
**Training**
Produce & dispatch name tags, sign in sheets, certificates & feedback forms for each course both in
- person and virtually via Zoom
Tabulate course feedback surveys
Populate registrant spreadsheet via purchases in the online store
**Community Relations**
Communicate with members to keep them informed of the work of the organization and to identify changes in the community served by the organization
Establish good working relationships and collaborative arrangements with members, industry groups, and other organizations to help achieve the goals of the organization.
Organize and execute conferences and meetings
