Retail Sales Associate - Part Time - approximately 15-20hrs/week must be available Monday-Friday from 730am-530pm for scheduling purposes - Floral Experience Required

The Hamilton Health Sciences Volunteer Association (HHSVA) is hiring We are looking for customer focused individuals who are interested in joining our diverse and engaged team.

Please note that since we operate inside a healthcare facility, health clearance is required from the Hamilton Health Sciences. Part of that health clearance process is providing proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or documentation justifying an exemption by utilizing their process for exemptions. Please note that only in very limited circumstances are exemptions approved.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide excellence in customer service both in-house and to wholesale clientele
- Ensure a clean and tidy area for health and safety purposes
- Prepares floral arrangements as well as gift baskets for, McMaster, and other sites as required
- Coordinates the delivery of all out going arrangements
- Work with floral associates in conjunction with management to be part of an efficient, motivated and cohesive team
- Ensure and maintain security in the area at all times for loss prevention
- Participates in Give Shop inventory when necessary
- Communicate customer requests and concerns and any suggestions to improve the success of floral sales to the Assistant Manger of the Give Shop /Retail Site Manager
- Perform other specific duties as directed by the Assistant Manager of the Give Shop/ Retail Site Manager
- Informs Assistant Manager Give Shop/RSM of any issues that may impact our financial results
