**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our team at Pho and Roll. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating various dishes according to the restaurant’s menu, ensuring high-quality food, cleanliness, and a smooth kitchen operation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Prepare and Cook**: Prepare ingredients and cook various Vietnamese dishes, including phở, bbq, spring rolls, stir-fries, and other traditional meals, following recipes and ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- ** Station Setup**: Ensure your cooking station is properly set up before service and fully stocked with ingredients, tools, and equipment.
- ** Food Safety**: Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times. Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and kitchen surfaces regularly.
- ** Timely Service**: Work efficiently to ensure that orders are completed in a timely manner during busy service hours.
- ** Menu Knowledge**: Maintain a strong understanding of the menu and be able to explain dishes to front-of-house staff or customers if necessary.
- ** Collaborate**: Work closely with the head chef and other kitchen staff to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly. Communicate any issues with ingredients or equipment immediately.
- ** Inventory Management**: Assist with receiving and properly storing deliveries. Ensure that all ingredients are fresh, stored correctly, and rotated properly.
- ** Adaptability**: Be able to handle special dietary requests or modifications in a way that maintains the quality and authenticity of the dishes.
- ** Teamwork**: Support other kitchen stations when necessary and be a team player in a fast-paced environment.

**Qualifications**:

- ** Experience**: 1+ year of experience as a line cook or in a similar role, preferably in a Vietnamese or Asian cuisine restaurant.
- ** Knowledge**: Strong knowledge of Vietnamese cooking techniques, ingredients, and traditional dishes.
- ** Skills**: Proficiency in basic kitchen tasks such as chopping, grilling, frying, and prepping sauces and broths. Ability to multitask under pressure.
- ** Food Safety**: Must have or be willing to obtain a food handler’s certificate.
- ** Physical Requirements**: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs), and work in a high-heat environment.
- ** Communication**: Good communication skills and ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
