We are actively seeking motivated individuals within the Surrey area to join our expanding team as a **Accounts Payable/Bookkeeper Assistant **on a **6 month contract** (Could become permanent).

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Review supplier invoices and match supporting documentation
- Filing A/P documentation
- Scanning invoices to A/P Specialist as needed and assisting A/P functions where required
- Data entry of simple invoices into system
- Operating the check printers
- Organizing documents for couriers
- Operating the credit card machine
- Retrieving mail from local mailbox
- Miscellaneous office duties as needed

**Qualifications**
- Strong attention to detail with good organization skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Good communications and writing skills in English
- General Office experience
- Basic experience in A/P and A/R is an asset
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)

**Job Type**: Contract

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
