**Position Title**: Abundant Intelligences Regional POD Coordinator

**Type**:Doctoral or Masters

**Project**: Abundant Intelligences

**Funding Source**: (External) Sub-grant NFRF/SSHRC from Concordia University

**Employer**:Western University

**Reporting to**: Dr. Jackson Leween, Two Bears, Ph.D.

Canada Research Chair in Indigenous Arts Research & Technology; Associate Professor Visual Arts and Indigenous Studies; Director of Onkwehonwe Research Environment; Co-Investigator of Abundant Intelligences.

**Responsibilities**:

- assist in overseeing the general operations of the Regional POD and research LAB.
- assist in overseeing the strategic research direction of the Regional POD, in consultation with the regional membership.
- assist with maintaining good relationships across the Regional POD
- help ensure the research program aligns with those of the Abundant Intelligences networks, the Executive Council and the Steering Committee.
- organize Regional POD meetings, and help create meeting agendas’
- note taking and record keeping at meetings and other events. This may include audio/video recordings (with permission).
- documentation of events, happenings and other. This includes organizing documentation provided by the Regional and Council membership
- communications, including website and design
- assist in promoting and organizing collaboration across the POD
- Data management, backup and security (including policy) across the POD
- organizing and managing CV for all members of the Regional POD
- research management (general)
- oversee annual review of research progress
- Assist with research-creation activities (media arts, and studio arts practices and production).

**Eligibility**:
Appointed by the Regional POD Director; must be a student enrolled in full-time or part-time studies at Western, or a community member appointed with the permission of the POD Council.
