Duties
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Organize and maintain case files and documents
- Assist with trial preparation, including witness preparation and exhibit management
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and answering phone calls
**Qualifications**:
- Completed a Legal Assistant Diploma from an accredited institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Law Clerk/Legal Assistant
- Adept with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal software such as PC Law and DivorceMate.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Detail oriented and able to maintain accuracy while working with a high volume of files and documents.
