**JOB TITLE: FINANCE ASSISTANT**

**Permanent Full-Time Non-Bargaining Unit Contract**

**DEPARTMENT: Administration**

**HOURS OF WORK: 75 hours’ biweekly**

**SUMMARY**: The Finance Assistant will be responsible for the key functional tasks specific to the Finance and Administrative operations. They will be working in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines with duties including data entry, reconciling accounts, processing AR/AP and other administrative tasks as required

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Post-Secondary Education in Finance/Administration and/or Post-Secondary Education in related field with a minimum of three (3) years experience.
- Excellent skills in MS EXCEL/WORD with experience in accounting software an asset.
- Requires strong written, analytical skills, as well as the aptitude to problem solve.
- Proven ability to work with highly sensitive and confidential information.
- Must be detail-orientated with ability to manage multiple and competing tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to work both in team environment as well as independently.
- Valid driver’s licence and access to use of a reliable vehicle.
