**REPORTS TO: Director, Project Delivery**
**DEPARTMENT: Project Management Office (PMO)**

**Primary Role of This Position**

The Project Coordinator role provides project management, operational, and administrative support to the project team, sponsor, and project manager. The role will focus on specific deliverables, parts of projects, and/or sub-projects with scheduling, organizing, data gathering, progress updating and reporting. The Project Coordinator will make project and PMO portfolio reports presentation-ready to ease the burden on the senior project managers to validate and harmonize communications.

**Responsibilities**

**+ **Report on status of existing projects

**+ **Schedule future project work and resource-leveling work plans

**+ **Attendance at various steering committee meetings, along with administrative support for recordkeeping and follow-up with both attendees and non-attendees

**+ **Ensure the timely entry and updating of data by project team members

**+ **Oversee project documentation and assure accuracy

**+ **Validate project reporting before advising project managers and sponsors

**+ **Coordinate various events in terms of invitation, equipment, catering, and other logistics

**Education and Experience**

**+ **College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or project management, with three years’ equivalent work experience

**+ **Certifications in technology-related and project management disciplines

**+ **Specific knowledge of Excel and various project and portfolio management platform(s) required

**+ **Extensive experience with Project and PowerPoint

**+ **Working technical knowledge of various dashboard and analytical software programs such as
PowerBI

**+ **Strong understanding of project and portfolio management techniques

**+ **Familiarity with the functioning of a PMO and steering committee

**Qualifications**

**+ **Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

**+ **Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

**+ **Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills

**+ **Ability to conduct research into project and portfolio management issues and products as required
