Business Development Executive (Woodworking, Builders, and Contractors Focus)
Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Business Development Executive with a focus on targeting woodworking companies, builders, and contracting companies. This role is instrumental in driving new business opportunities, fostering partnerships, and expanding our client base within the countertop fabrication industry.
**Responsibilities**:
Identify and research potential woodworking companies, builders, and contracting companies as target clients.
Proactively generate leads through targeted outreach, cold calling, networking, and referrals.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients within the woodworking, building, and contracting sectors.
Conduct effective sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to the needs of woodworking companies, builders, and contractors.
Understand clients' specific requirements and provide customized solutions to meet their countertop fabrication needs.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution, including design, fabrication, and installation processes.
Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
Actively participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand business connections and stay updated on market trends.
Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and terms with clients to secure new business deals.
Meet or exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and other performance metrics.
Qualifications:
Proven track record in B2B sales, specifically within the woodworking, building, or contracting industries.
Strong knowledge of the countertop fabrication industry, including materials, manufacturing processes, and installation requirements. Which we can help you to learn.
Experience in prospecting, lead generation, and relationship building within the target market.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to understand clients' needs and effectively position our countertop solutions to address those needs.
Self-motivated, proactive, and driven to achieve sales targets and business growth.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
