Bookkeeper - Part Time

Duties:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Process payroll and ensure accurate and timely payment to employees
- Handle accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations
- Perform technical accounting tasks, such as journal entries and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Process accounts payable, including vendor payments and expense reimbursements
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct bank reconciliation to ensure accurate recording of transactions
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of governmental accounting standards is a plus
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-25 per week
**Salary**: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
