Administrative Assistant/customer Service

**Hours**: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (40 hours/week)
Creative Children - one of the largest distributors of art, office & educational supplies in Western Canada, is seeking an enthusiastic, team-oriented and experienced individual to join our Creative Packs office team.
As part of the Creative Packs team, you would work with B.C. schools to create teacher-approved supply lists and sell/process prepackaged student school supply orders.
- Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining strong, loyal relationships to key accounts and customers.
- Prepare and revise student supply lists and quotes for schools.
- Process customer orders, payments, refunds and packing slips.
- Operation of E-commerce and Point of Sale Systems.
- Generate and maintain spreadsheets.
- Responsible for booking/coordinating incoming and outbound shipments with various shipping companies.
- Assist with hiring and training of summer staff.
- Assisting the Operations Lead and Warehouse Supervisor with required tasks.
**We are searching for a multi-task, organized individual with the following skill set**:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail orientated and meticulous.
- Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Excellent problem-solving and good numerical skills.
- Outstanding inside sales and customer service skills.
- Work well independently as well as in a team environment.
- Must be self-motivated, have a positive attitude and show initiative.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

- Secondary School (preferred)
