We are geared to achieve underwriting excellence and are committed to excellent customer service. We are seeking and Administrative Assistant to become a part of our dynamic and knowledgeable team.
**Job description**
**The Role**
- Enter new submissions into our system
- Process policies and documentation in a timely manner
- Administrative support to managers and underwriters as required
- Administrative support to our accounting department
- Contribute to building strong broker relationships by providing excellent customer service
- Work effectively towards the goals of the team
- Perform other general duties, as required
**Job Qualifications**
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient computer skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work within a fast-paced environment
- Professional and personable
- Demonstrates an interest in learning and building career in the Insurance Industry
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
**Education and Experience**
- Post-secondary education an asset but not required
- CIP an asset or willingness to enroll in classes
- Previous experience in the insurance industry an asset but not required
- Previous experience in accounting or QuickBooks an asset but not required
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $40,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
