Applicants should have previous job experience in administrative work or customer service. Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong desire to help students succeed. The applicants leadership skills will require you to plan and oversee student orientations and other activities.

The Student Services Coordinator helps to create a friendly and inviting environment for our international and domestic students and will be responsible for a combination of some or all of the following:

- Organize new student orientations for new incoming students and work with the marketing team on updating new student lists.
- Organize end-of-term celebrations.
- Liaise with Campus Director to maintain updated Student Handbooks.
- Coordinate volunteer program. Allocate volunteer resources to support social programs and orientation events. Create and implement future special programs and activities, conversation programs, and student events.
- Deliver student improvement plans as needed.
- Liaise with our systems manager and campus director to ensure policies related to attendance and academic standings are adhered to.
- Meet with students regarding course adjustments, other requests and student change forms.
- Responsible for advising students on matters related to their time in Canada
- Interact with students and provide them with administrative or personal guidance.
- Offer suggestions and help students with classroom concerns and act as a mediator between instructors and peers.
- Collect and report of feedback from students (surveys).
- Other duties as assigned.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- Education Administration & Advising Occupations: 1 year (preferred)
