The role of the **Quality Assurance Associate** is to support the QA team in fulfilling their roles to the clients by working closely and communicating regularly with the QA team with respect to the required work to be done. The QA Associate must be extremely organized to help ensure that the Consultants are providing the best support in quality and regulatory to clients in the natural health product, food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries. The role will report into the Primary Consultant / President but will also support other QA team members.

The QA Associate role requires strong verbal and written communication skills, a proactive attitude, extremely strong organization skills, excellent time management, problem-solving, strategic thinking, teamwork, flexibility and an eager to learn attitude. This position includes supporting the Consultants in establishing and maintaining aspects of clients’ quality systems as required including but not limited to the following:
Support and assist consultants with the identification, investigating and management of timelines to completion:

- Complaints
- Adverse Reaction reports including investigations to determine if reportable AR or not\
- Non-conformances
- Deviations
- OOS
- CAPAs
- Change Control
- Assist Consultants with the preparation of test requisitions and track testing status to completion
- Assist Consultants with quality trending for the different clients
- Assisting in maintenance of retained samples for clients that require this activity

Maintenance of Label Masters

Assist Primary Consultant with the management of SOPs.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Science from a Canadian University. Chemistry and microbiology knowledge an asset.
- Direct work experience with QA systems (at least 2 years) related to pharmaceutical or Natural Health products (preferred).
- Knowledge of Health Canada GMP regulations for Natural Health Products, foods and Pharmaceutical Products
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency with MS Excel, Word and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work and make decisions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Ability to present information and communicate with colleagues in a clear way
- Detail-oriented with proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly developed organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage a diverse number of projects
- Able to work in the office 5 days a week

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $48,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
