**Quality Assurance Specialist II**

As we expand our operations and continue to strengthen our partnerships, we are seeking an experienced **Quality Assurance Specialist II.**
**Main Responsibilities (but not limited to)**:
- Reviews batch records and ensures the records are complete as per GMP & GDP; inspects finished good samples for release.
- Creates internal and Client-specific Certificates of Analysis, Certificate of Manufacture and Compliance and other documents requiring product release.
- Performs investigations and completes reports for customer complaints, non-conformances and CAPA plan execution and effectiveness checks.
- Assists with OOS report review and tracking.
- Participates in self-inspections and assists with customer audits.
- Assist with maintenance of vendor qualification, material approval and raw material risk assessment.
- Assist in approval of BOM and Master formula.
- Develop or revise Finished Product Specifications (FPS) as needed.
- Assist with Change Control, Deviations, EMP program and Calibration Program.
- Other duties as required.
**What you bring**:
- Minimum Bachelor of Science from a Canadian University or recognized as equivalent to Canadian University standards.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a Quality Assurance field in the Natural Health Products, Food or Pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong knowledge in GMP, HACCP, and other food quality & safety regulations.
- Certification in quality assurance, GMP and HACCP is considered an asset
- SAP knowledge will be considered an asset.
- Passion for continuous improvement, efficiency, and teamwork.
- Excellent time management to handle priorities and Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with internal and external individuals.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and computer skills (MS Excel, Word and Outlook).
- Committed to Safety, Food Safety and Quality practices.
