**Job purpose**
- The Jr Systems Administrator provides full-time Information Technologies services to Holsag in person in Lindsay. Working alongside the IT department in Orem, Utah, the Junior Systems Administrator is responsible for ensuring the continued maintenance and implementation of software and hardware for our Canadian Facilities as well as assisting with company wide projects and initiatives._

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Provide efficient Help Desk support to end-users, addressing technical issues and inquiries promptly.
- Manage and maintain the organization's virtualization environment (Hyper-V platforms.)
- Oversee the configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of Active Directory and Azure AD services.
- Ensure smooth operation and optimal performance of printers and related devices.
- Implement and maintain robust data backup and recovery solutions.
- Administer Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS) systems for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining networking infrastructure for seamless data flow and connectivity.
- Collaborate with the team to deploy and manage services on Azure Cloud.
- Implement basic security measures and best practices to safeguard the organization's IT assets.
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate Microsoft ERP systems (MS NAV, MS Business Central) and Microsoft CRM systems (MS CRM, MS Customer Engagement) into new and existing systems.
- Abide by and enforce all Health & Safety Policies and procedures in the workplace.
- Participate in all workplace training requirements and ensure all reporting staff adhere to this requirement within the timeframes required
- Consistently looking at ways to add value and continuous improvements and should also take ownership in own their role and to grow and develop personally and professionally, and to help others in doing this as well.

**Qualifications**

Qualifications include:

- Minimum 1-3 years IT experience

**Working conditions**

This job operates primarily in an office environment. But may frequently interact in a manufacturing/warehouse environment. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of conditions such as:

- Occasional loud noise level
- Varying temperatures
- Dust, dirt

This position also requires domestic travel, 5% to 10%

**Physical requirements**

This job requires:

- Frequent sitting (75%)
- Occasional, lifting, bending, stooping and kneeling
- Occasional lifting (25-50lbs)
