Forbes Bros is currently recruiting a full time, energetic, self-motivated **Fleet Analyst** for our Fleet Services Department.

Reporting to the Director, Fleet Services the **Fleet Analyst** plays an integral role within the Fleet Services Department; contributing to the Fleet group by ensuring a thorough understanding of fleet financial information and communicating this information to multiple stakeholders in an easy-to-understand format.

**Responsibilities**:
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

- Improve, execute, and effectively communicate significant analyses that identify meaningful trends and opportunities across fleet operations throughout North America
- Participate in regular meetings with management, assessing and addressing issues to identify and implement improvements toward efficient operations
- Provide strong and timely financial and business analytic decision support to various organizational stakeholders
- Develop actionable roadmaps for improving workflows and processes, and establish and organize KPIs in line with national directives
- Actively engage various levels in the organization to further the understanding and knowledge of fleet activities
- Rate development and deployment
- Maintenance cost analysis
- Asset utilization analysis
- Fuel consumption analysis
- Analyze capital investment requests
- Vendors spend analysis
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Preferred Qualifications**:
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Post-secondary degree or diploma in accounting or business
- 5 - 7 years of related experience in a similar role within a fleet services department or equipment management capacity is preferred
- Basic understanding of fleet management and equipment repair is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, IF Functions)
- Vista Viewpoint experience is highly desirable

**SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:

- Ability to drive results with mínimal supervision
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with an ability to engage and foster strong working relations with both internal and external clients
- Strong time management and organization skills, with the proven ability to prioritize based on business requirements while managing a high-volume portfolio
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast pace and changing environment
- Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude

**Work Conditions**:
Hybrid position with a combination of in-office and remote working available and 10% travel required to various sites
