Kitchen Lead (Full Time)
Quarry Park Child Development Centre
**Salary**: $34,112.00/yr - $40,896.00/yr
Start Date: Immediately

What qualifications are we looking for?
Qualifications include:
Previous experience in large volume kitchens or line cooking
Experience mitigating health risks in food preparation to meet dietary restrictions
Leadership skills and ability to guide and direct others to meet desired area outcomes
Strong communication skills
Current Standard First Aid with CPR-C certificated within the last 12 months from an approved AB OHS provider. Asset if certification is issued by one of the following five Canadian organizations: Canadian Red Cross, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Lifesaving Society, St John's Ambulance and/or Canadian Ski Patrol.
Evidence of a clear Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search

Duties and responsibilities include:
Prepare nutritious and delicious food for children, including use of specialized processes for individuals with dietary restrictions
Ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals
Ensure safe preparation and storage of all food and supplies, advance meal planning and food management
Support a positive kitchen culture and respectful workplace
Ensure the kitchen is held to a high standard of sanitation and cleanliness
Support Quarry Park Child Development Centre’s risk management rules and guidelines
