Reporting to the _Director of Human Resources_, the _HR Generalist_ is responsible for all aspects of people management: the full cycle of activity associated with recruitment, onboarding, health and safety, benefits, training, administration and reporting, payroll transactions, and consultation with employees and management. The _HR Generalist_ will also assist in policy, legal agreements and contracts, compensation, labour relations, performance management and special projects.
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management or related field.
- A minimum of two years experience in HR, administration, or related work.
- Good working knowledge of employment, human rights, safety and related laws and standards in Ontario.
- Strong tact and diplomacy, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Skilled in maintaining attention to detail, reviewing and synthesizing information accurately and quickly, and recognizing opportunities for improvement.
- Payroll or HRMS experience an asset.
- Knowledge of accessibility, accommodation, diversity and inclusion an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office365, including Excel.
- Skilled in relationship-building, customer service, planning, organizing, and time management.
- Effective team player with positive attitude, initiative, and authenticity.
- Interactions demonstrate accountability and contribute to a work environment that values collaboration, trust and inclusion.

**Salary**: $42,000 to $48,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
