The Aurum Group is seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Recruiter / HR Generalist to enable the Aurum Group to find the right personnel to allow the Aurum Group to continue to expand. A significant amount of our workforce are high rise and low rise window cleaners, warehouse associates and warehouse personnel. Personnel with experience recruiting and working with trades are preferred. We are looking for someone who is innovative, energetic, and self motivated. This individual will work alongside our inhouse counsel and will be provided with opportunities to navigate employment law rules and regulations. We want an intelligent person who can communicate effectively and find alternative solutions to personnel challenges.
** Job Type: Permanent, on site**

**Salary**: $65,000 per year
- commissions

**Roles**

Screen applicants and conduct preliminary focused telephone interviews

Stay current on the company's organizational structure, company policies, and federal and provincial laws regarding employment practices

Assist in development of recruitment strategies for Canadian and temporary foreign workers

Maintain employee files, respond to employee queries on issues such as pay and benefits

Coordinates external training for employees, e.g. working at heights

**Qualifications**

Other HR roles and duties as required

Post-secondary education (Human Resources, Labour Relations preferred)

Human Resources (CHRP) designation preferred

2-4 years of prior experience in an HR/Staffing role preferably in a large workplace (100+ employees)

Highly motivated and able to work independently

Ability to prioritize and multitask

Analytical and Innovative

Creative problem-solving skills

Highly organized

Strong communicator
