**What responsibilities will you have in this role?**
- Supports the design and delivery of the technological, design and management aspects of BIM (i.e. Building Information Modelling and Building Information Management) to students in the Angelo DelZotto School of Construction Management particularly the diploma (T105/T161), degree (T312, T314, T316, T317, T318, T319), and post-graduate certificate (T412) programs.
- Provides academic leadership and develops an effective learning environment for students through the design and delivery of curriculum.
- Devises and evaluates learning outcomes.
- Evaluates student performance/progress/achievements.
- Participates in the work of curriculum, program advisory and other committees.
- Ensures that course and program curriculum is current and relevant by working closely with industry groups (particularly CANBIM) and GBC quality assurance.
- Contributes to other areas of activity ancillary to the academic programs as needed/requested.

**What qualifications do you need for this role?**
- Minimum Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a built environment discipline.
- CANBIM (or equivalent) Certification highly desirable.
- Minimum three years of practical experience in the built environment using BIM software and principles.
- Expertise and experience in both:

- Building information Modeling
- Building Information Modelling tools for creating 3D representation of buildings using Autodesk Revit Software or equivalent.
- Building Information Modeling tools for quantity extraction, data extraction and re-use in BIM, model coordination/clash detection and construction sequencing and 4D simulation.
- Building Information Management
- BIM workflows by multidisciplinary teams, BIM Execution Planning, Collaborative model-sharing, BIM guidelines, standards and policies, Interoperability and ‘Open BIM’, BIM’s impact on project procurement (contract and delivery) and BIM across the supply chain and on-site management and field engineering practices.
