**Human Resources Advisor**

As a Human Resources Advisor, you will be a key contributor to our organization's success, playing a pivotal role in talent acquisition and strategic business partnering. Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources, you will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment, employee relations, and enhancing HR policies and practices to support our strategic objectives.

This role is critical in supporting the development and maintenance of HR programs to ensure value-added Human Resources support to the business in its goal of achieving strategic and operational initiatives.

This is a temporary position _**beginning July 2024 through to October 2025.**_

**What You Will Do**

**Talent Acquisition and Recruitment**
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop strategic recruitment plans.
- Implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent and enhance employer brand.
- Coordinate efficient employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including benefits packages and system activations

**Strategic Business Partnering**
- Partner with business leaders to align talent strategies with strategic objectives.
- Provide HR expertise and guidance to support business decision-making and drive organizational success.
- Act as a liaison between HR and other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Proactively identify HR needs and opportunities for improvement to support business growth and scalability.
- Foster a culture of excellence where employees are actively engaged and inspired to achieve outstanding results, thus advancing our organization's 'People First' strategy.
- Provide coaching, guidance and consultation to employees and leaders with respect to career development, compensation, staffing initiatives, performance management and employee relations.

**Payroll & Employment Relations**
- Facilitates full-cycle payroll administration in the planned or unexpected absence of the incumbent.
- Research, develop and provide recommendations for People & Culture policies and processes.
- Assist leadership/employees with interpretation and administration of Occupational Health and Safety legislation.
- Coordinate employee leaves of absence in conjunction with Manager, Human Resources

**What You Posses**:

- Education_: Completion of post-secondary program of at least 2 years with a focus in Human Resource Management and working towards a CPHR designation are required.
- Experience_: 5-6 years’ experience in a generalist capacity with a focus on recruitment of diverse positions, onboarding, payroll and employee relations
- Skills/Competencies_:

**What We Offer**:

- A temporary full-time employment opportunity starting July 2024 through to October 2025
- A competitive salary between $62,000 - $72,5000
- Extended health and dental benefits package, including several resources to support mental health and financial wellness.
- Work environment is remote/hybrid.
- A 7.25-hour workday from Monday through Friday
- 12 general holidays and an annual holiday break when our office is closed for the last week in December.
- Earned vacation days at a monthly rate that equates to 15 days per year to start.
- On top of it all, we provide an annual self-directed staff development fund to support life-long self-learning and self/family personal health and wellness services.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 15 months

Pay: $62,000.00-$72,500.00 per year
