Additionally, this role contributes to HR-specific projects as needed. This position provides essential support to maximize efficiency, productivity, and service to enhance the overall employee experience with Human Resources. WHAT YOU'LL DO

Report to the Manager, HR Operations. Provide administrative support in the annual Salary Administration process. Support the Compensation Specialist in completing third-party surveys to compare AMA total rewards offerings and compensation to the market. Maintain an ongoing inventory of job families, including roles within each, movement of roles, and re-evaluation with backup and approvals. Collaborate with the Compensation Specialist to receive, re-format, and maintain the inventory of Job Profiles for all AMA roles. Continuously review and flag out-of-date profiles, prompting people leaders/business units for review and updates. Provide support and education to employees and managers on benefit and pension queries. Elevate Total Rewards-related questions/concerns to Benefits and Pension Advisor or others as needed. Actively participate and support the Benefits and Pension Advisor in the annual Benefits Open enrollment process, coordinating and reviewing the process, preparing and updating systems, reviewing and updating materials, preparing and distributing updates, verifying data, and contributing to project planning and post-process review. Support the Benefits and Pension Advisor with preparing regular reports, weekly submissions, and general administration and ongoing education of the plans (benefits, pension, etc.). Provide cross-functional support and backup for other HR functions as needed, ensuring consistent and uninterrupted delivery of HR services, including benefits, leaves, and operations. Ensure strict adherence to critical deadlines for HR processes and projects, proactively following up with stakeholders to ensure tasks are completed on time. Generate and maintain employee letters, documentation, and reports, including employment contracts, offer letters, and HR-related reports. Maintain a comprehensive and organized repository of HR documents. Actively participate in various Human Resources projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to the successful planning and execution of HR initiatives. This may include projects related to employee engagement, HR technology, compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, and more.

WHAT YOU'VE DONE

You have a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in Human Resources. Bonus points if you have a CPHR, SHRM, CCP or CEBS designation. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Total Rewards (developing job profiles, assisting with job evaluation and compensation management, and benefits & pension administration). You work well in a fast-paced environment and under pressure. You’ve got strong interpersonal skills with highly developed written and verbal communication skills. You are a self-starter and can demonstrate initiative. You're proficient in the following MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
