Overview:
**POSITION OVERVIEW**

Our Appointment Coordinator is responsible for setting appointments for our tax professionals in the Calgary branch.

Our Member Care Coordinator serves as the first point of contact with our Members. They demonstrate a positive energy and consistently provides exceptional customer service to FBC Members.

You will be spending approx. 50% of your time in the Member Care Coordinator (MCC) role, and approx. 50% of your time in the Appointment Coordinator role, reporting to the MCC Supervisor.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Appointment Coordinator:

- Call members to schedule their tax appointments
- Work with Production Supervisor(s) to achieve weekly & annual booking targets
- Work with Consultants individually to effectively & efficiently book appointments on their calendars
- Become familiar with the geography of northern Alberta & B.C to maximize # of appointments booked

Member Care Coordinator:

- Be the first point of contact for FBC Members
- Ensure each client has a positive experience with our company
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to provide the Member with an answer quickly
- Prepare, review, & submit documents, reports & other correspondence to Members
- Assist with misc. member call projects
- Assist with other support duties as required

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES**
- Experience Scheduling/Booking Appointments
- Experience using MS Office, specifically Outlook & Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good at building relationships with customers over the phone
- Proven ability to learn technical information (customers frequently ask questions about tax)
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping or tax would be considered an asset
