Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As the Principal Program Manager - Communications, Datacenter Operations Americas, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. **Responsibilities**:
**As a successful Principal Program Manager Communications, Datacenter Operations Americas, your day-to-day work will include**:

- Lead strategic communication projects, including organization-wide initiatives and leadership communication.
- Manage DCOPs' intranet, newsletters, notifications, and town hall meetings.
- Utilize diverse communication channels to foster awareness of organizational goals and culture.
- Craft impactful employee communications, especially regarding safety, security, and engagement.
- Demonstrate leadership traits like initiative, self-organization, and strategic thinking.
- Prioritize customer service, diplomacy, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Lead and develop a small to medium-sized team.
- Implement and oversee organization-wide communication initiatives with project management skills.
- Cultivate essential business relationships and drive change management activities.
- Stay current on evolving technologies and adapt to the company's culture and evolution, particularly in a tech-driven environment like Microsoft.

**Qualifications**:
**Required/Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Management, Communications, Public Relations, Brand Management) AND 8+ years experience in strategic organizational communication, media relations, public relations, information research, and brand management, business planning, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles
- OR equivalent experience.
- 8+ years' experience working closely with senior leadership and promote collaboration among cross-functional teams in the field of communications.
- 5+ years of experience in people management and leadership
**Additional or Preferred Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Management, Communications, Public Relations, Brand Management) AND 10+ years experience in strategic organizational communication, media relations, public relations, information research, and brand management, business planning, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles
- OR Master's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Management, Communications, Public Relations, Brand Management) AND 7+ years experience in strategic organizational communication, media relations, public relations, information research, and brand management, business planning, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles
- OR equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Tools: An excellent understanding of communication publishing tools.
