Reporting to the National Account Manager, the Key Account Analyst will provide support to the Lindt Walmart National Account Manager & Key Account Managers through data analysis of NTS information, market data, consumer trends, customer POS (Retail Link), Nielsen as well as development support of presentations to drive the overall Walmart businesses.

**Responsibilities**:

- Communicate with key Walmart contacts, such as the Category Buyer and Category Team Analyst, to further support key business priorities, such as setting up new items, item maintenance or resolving issues
- Manage Walmart’s Retail Link to create and extract POS reports on a daily, weekly and “adhoc” basis to support business requirements from regular business reviews to special projects and/or situations
- Maintain Walmart item list and manage set up of new items in Retail Link
- Lead communication with Lindt Field Sales teams which includes, but is not limited to, responding to internal social posts, updating Key Initiatives, weekly reporting and updates with regions
- Maintain regular contact with systems specialists on customer side, such as Replenishment and Category Team Analyst, to ensure item maintenance is up-to-date and resolve issues as necessary. Engage on occasion with Category Buyer providing completed forms and/or answering questions related to programs or issues.
- Work with Field Sales on weekly and monthly updates by providing store level analysis and selling stories to support store level business priorities, issues and opportunities
- Work with the National Account Manager to develop key business presentations from regular business reviews to major seasonal presentations. This would include development of charts to clearly present data analytics sourced from Retail Link and/or Nielsen along with pulling item level details (SKU information/images) to further support the presentation messaging.
- Key support for Volume and Trade Spend management and forecasting through system input and management, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams in Finance and Supply Chain to communicate and analyze volume and spend management
- Support the National Account Manager with pulling, analyzing and updating internal forecasts for both every day and seasonal business on Walmart business. Conduct item level forecast analysis to determine opportunities through review of metrics such as competitive data, market trends and historical information.

- functional teams in Finance and Supply Chain to ensure clear communication and maximizing forecast and spend management
- Develop towards a Key Account Manager role through direct management of small PPGs, category story telling/selling and with coaching and mentorship from National Account Manager & Key Account Managers
- Engage in all Key Account Management functions for smaller PPGs, ad hoc category store telling/selling with the National Account Manager & Key Account Managers providing coaching and mentorship. This includes building strategic growth plans; developing forecasts; managing spends; building and conducting presentations to the customer and handling all aspects of day-to-day business with these product groups.

**Requirements**:

- A university or equivalent college degree in business related courses
- Experience in the Packaged Goods industry - experience in a similar role would be optimal
- Knowledge or and experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Previous experience with Cognos, TradePro, Retail Link and Nielsen is a strong asset
- Self-starter with an ability to work independently and as a team member
- Strong ability to manipulate data and clearly present findings is necessary
- Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities and sense of urgency
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
