**Job Description**:
**On-site**:This position requires an employee to be on-site on a full-time basis.
**The Role**
As a GSC Technical Leader, you will be providing guidance to multiple Teams (in and out of the plant) on the execution of propulsion programs and the movement of material. You will be responsible for managing the overall flow of material and execution of GMS and Budget responsibilities for the GSC Office.
You will be part of the development of (new) products, processes, standard, or operational plans. This position also provides support for the organization's business strategies with direct impact on business and functions overall.
**What You’ll Do**
- Responsible for Global Manufacturing System ( GMS )
- Lead business plans/tactics to reach overall plant target and global targets on a day-to-day basis
- Lead the team in developing commodity strategies and sourcing recommendations (ie. LOC (Logistics Optimization Center) / VAA ( Value Added Assembler )/ Warehousing)
- Oversee, monitor and coach a team of employees including Contracted Business Partners
- Collaborate with engineering, Customer Care and Aftersales ( CCA ), Global Purchasing and Supply Chain (GPSC ), Finance to understand costs and drive cost reductions
- Optimize LOC /VAA/ Warehousing footprints
- Manage supplier relationship and operational issues
- Optimize and reduce inventory while maintaining an even flow material
**Additional Job Description**:
**Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications)**
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years experience in Global Supply Chain
- Deep knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Proven desire and ability to lead and coach the performance of direct reports
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
- Ability to work cross functionally and with various levels of management required (sometimes several levels above)
- Ability to be flexible and at times work extended and non-core hours to ensure issues are worked to resolution
- Technical knowledge of MGO (Material Global Optimization) and MODS Reporting (Material Operations Decision Support)

- Knowledge of Annual Physical Inventory (API)

- Knowledge of Global Manufacturing System (GMS)
- Experience in eSAP
- Knowledge of material flow; floor operations and logistics loops
- Capable of interpreting large amounts of inventory data
- Solid knowledge of LOC (Logistics Optimization Center)/ VAA (Value Added Assembler)/ Warehousing strategies
