**Job Description** How You’ll Make an Impact**:
Along with your counterparts for Western and Eastern Canada, and reporting to the SVP of our Energy & Resources business, you will:

- Develop a comprehensive Indigenous community relations strategy
- Represent Sodexo at community events, celebrations and organizations (CCAB, Cando)
- Work hand in hand with Energy & Mining Directors of Operations and General Managers for coaching and ongoing relationships with Chief, Council and community members
- Research and Identify business opportunities in line with our Growth strategy and Targets within Energy & Mining industries
- Support Business Development in prospecting and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes
- Identify and escalate any risks to our Indigenous partnerships (i.e. competitor activity)
- Increase awareness of Sodexo’s work with indigenous communities including social medias
- Monitor and track quarterly Sodexo Canada’s Indigenous Key Performance Indicators for PAR certification
- Take part into our Council for Indigenous People
- Research and Promote Indigenous Entrepreneurs and Suppliers to introducing to our Supply Chain

**Qualifications** What You’ll Need to Succeed**:

- University degree or College Diploma in relevant field
- Fluency in English
- Excellent relationship and people-centered skills
- Must have extensive experience working with Indigenous communities, Indigenous Chiefs & Councils and Economic Development.
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Background in Food and Hospitality - Hotel services would be preferred.
- Previous experience working at or in relations with Mining or Energy industries is a plus
- Diplomatic, empathetic, respectful, tactful, actively listens
- Effective planning, organizing, and time management skill
- Excellent computer skills and ease in communication in social medias
- Travel up to 30%, specifically in ON, SK, MB
