**Job Description**:
**Brief Overview**:
The BIM Specialist Student is responsible for modeling, 4D creation, clash coordination (2D and 3D) and logistic plans. This role needs to interact with CCM team members and teamwork is vital to this position. We at CCM provide a safe environment for growth and development. We are looking for individuals that are open to learning and sharing.

The BIM Specialist Student will report to the BIM Scheduling Manager.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist and support projects and pursuits in the production of models along with the analysis, creation, and management of Building Information Models (BIM) and 2D drawings use these processes:

- Data collection
- Model/file management
- Clash detection
- 4D stimulation/schedules
- Renderings
- Animations
- Site logistics plans
- Add in the coordination/creation of lift drawings, as required
- Prepare and revise 3D BIM models in Revit and 2D drawings in AutoCAD, as required
- Documentation and printing
- Read and review documents, contracts, drawings, and specifications with the ability to create models from these
- Utilize collaboration techniques for information management, implement Building information Modeling (BIM) and integrating models

**Qualifications**:
**Required**:

- Graduate from a recognized post-secondary institution in Architectural Technologist, Drafting, Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Architecture
- 1-year professional experience
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit is a must
- Experience with Bluebeam, Navisworks
- Ability to set priorities and multi-task
- Team player and has a positive work ethic

**Desired**:

- Thorough understanding and knowledge of industry standards, current construction best practices, processes, and their impact on project activities would be an asset
- Experience in High-Rise construction is a definite asset
