**LEON’S IS NOW HIRING A FULL-TIME **Franchise Finance LEAD**
Leon’s is a family-built, publicly owned company that has been a part of Canadian homes, and families for over a century, and we are growing. We are currently looking to add a full-time **Franchise Finance LEAD** to our Franchise team. This exciting position is based out of our corporate Home Office in Toronto, Ontario. **This is a fully in-office (non-remote) position**.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Perform due diligence on potential franchisees and reviewing their financial data to determine if they are a fir for Leon’s.
- Creating and analyzing potential franchise locations with Proformas.
- Manage all accounting systems training and maintenance, reporting requirements, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, inventory and sales analysis, financials, and daily journal entries for new franchise locations, in cooperation with the Franchise Owners representatives.
- Maintaining the day-to-day Franchise operations to ensure they are financially strong and profitable, including monthly analysis of each franchise P&L.
- Facilitate yearly in person audits on all franchise locations (approximately thirty-five locations, country wide) focusing on financials, system knowledge, showroom presentation, and Leon’s procedures. Once completed, create audit reports for stores showing areas of opportunity and areas of strength.
- Aiding in the creation of system projects that affect franchise stores to ensure proper clarification for training purposes.
- Working with corporate departments on franchise stores system conversions to the corporate database.
- Reconcile and maintain corporate franchise GL accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare, post, and distribute franchise monthly advertising invoices and misc. credits.
- Reconcile and prepare the yearly franchise rebates.
- Any other franchise finance ad hoc requests, as needed.
- Train new [department] associates
- Provide associates with ongoing training and coaching as needed.
- Ensure all associates have completed the necessary training.
**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- Qualified accountant (CPA, CA preferred) with 4-5 years accounting and reporting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and reporting requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management within the organization.
- Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to take on tasks outside the area of assigned responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
- Strong analytical skills, accuracy and careful attention to detail are essential.
- Proactive attitude, problem solver
- Ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Must be able to travel within Canada.
