Procurement and Logistic Administrator

Scarborough, Canada Starboard Seafood (Ontario) Inc Full time

**Job Description Includes (but is not limited to)**:

- Assist logistics coordinators with coordinating ground transportation and air freight
- Communicate with Freight forwarders to ensure timely shipment delivery.
- Provide updates to internal and external customers of order information, such as shipping dates, and any anticipated delays
- Process freight, brokerage and building maintenance invoices
- Prepare and Complete import documentation for cross-border shipments
- Enter/Handle purchase orders and prepare credit notes
- Assist with daily ad hoc Supply Chain Administration such as data and order entry, maintain filing and record systems and photocopying
- Assist in the process of renewing different licenses and permits
- Other administrative duties
- Have flexibility for additional hours to follow shipment schedules
- Intermediate computer skills (particularly EXCEL)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Punctual and reliable
- Must be detailed oriented, organize and accurate

**Assets to the position**:

- Experience dealing with Suppliers is an asset
- Experience dealing with Freight Forwarders/Airlines is an asset
- Experience dealing with CBSA and CFIA is an asset
- Experience maintaining and executing a Preventive Control Plan (PCP) is a Big asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $35,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
