Reporting to the VP, Corporate Partnerships & Consumer Products, the Manager, Corporate Partnerships & Premium Properties will be a significant contributor to OSEG’s main revenue generating functions cultivating new relationships with local and regional corporate partners. The individual must be seen as a problem-solver who is focused on opportunities and has a positive, collaborative approach.
- What you’ll do:_
- Drive new revenue opportunities across each of OSEG’s business through the sale of sponsors and hospitality assets, premium seats, and corporate properties;
- Secure renewal revenue based on established book of accounts;
- Build, manage and advance a Sales pipeline to ensure future success, by cultivating new relationships with local and regional corporate partners;
- Be an OSEG Ambassador in our local and regional business community;
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge and sales practices;
- Anticipate client needs and proactively develop a tailored approach.
- What’s needed:_
- Post-secondary degree in marketing, business, sports administration or other related discipline;
- 3-5 years of experience working in partnership marketing with a specific focus on best practices and principles related to the sale and implementation of partnerships;
- Intellectual Property Rights, Brand activation and promotion, and working knowledge of other key marketing concepts and functions including Media (TV, Radio, Print, Digital, Mobile) brand strategy and positioning;
- Established networks and relationships within the sports, events and media industry in Canada, is preferred;
- Demonstrated track record in business development and sales with a consistent record of success in a partnership environment;
- High degree of motivation, time management, attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent inter-personal skills - skillful at building and fostering relationships;
- Ability to build and execute on strategic sales plan for an assigned industry or group of industries in the Ottawa-Gatineau Region;
- Ability to work games/events on evenings and/or weekends;
- Bilingualism considered an asset.
