We are currently searching for an eager, professional, detail oriented, health and safety focused individual for our Health and Safety Consultant position. This is a position for someone with experience working as a health and safety professional with education.
**SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Primary responsibility of will be for mentor our Junior Consultants
- File, photocopy, and complete general Health and Safety administration, as required.
- Schedule training and train our clients, as required
- Prepare and update the client’s training matrix, and provide alerts for updates, with suggestions for updating training
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of Health and Safety Programs, Safety Talks, Meeting and Orientation sessions
- Communicate within Frazer Safety Service to ensure that all relevant information is forwarded to the appropriate personnel on a regular and timely basis
- Provide regular updates to the Business Development Manager regarding progress on required duties and the status of any outstanding actions, or additional work
- Participate in and report on management systems audits, inspections, investigations, and meetings as required
- Build and maintain a thorough knowledge of health and safety legislation.
- Compile and generate statistical information for the client and Business Development Manager, as requested
- Site and workplace inspections and report writing
- Project mentorship for clients
- Policy and Procedure writing for clients and updating our current documents.
- Working with clients to update, create and help with their current health and safety programs.
**QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE**
- Occupational Health and Safety Program in Ontario.
- Workplace experiences (such as other jobs in the past, or supervisory, certified health and safety representative experiences)
- Computer experience in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong sense of respect for confidentiality and client confidentiality.
- A mature self-starter with the ability to work with minimum supervision
- Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt to change
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Valid G Drivers and vehicle.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
