Procurement Coordinator

Welcome to Amity Management (Dental Management Specialists), we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Procurement Coordinator to join our team. We are family-focused as well as a state-of-the-art dental practice.
The Procurement Coordinator will be instrumental in managing the procurement of dental materials and equipment, ensuring that our network of dental practices across Southern Ontario is optimally equipped to provide outstanding care to our patients.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Efficiently manage the procurement process for dental materials and equipment.
- Leverage analytical skills to optimize purchasing decisions and enhance inventory management.
- Coordinate logistics and manage delivery schedules to various locations.
- Travel occasionally to dental practices within Southern Ontario to verify inventory needs and work some evenings and weekends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key dental vendors.
**Experience and Skills**:
- Extensive knowledge of procurement and logistics systems, preferably in the healthcare or dental industry.
- Strong analytical abilities for making informed purchasing decisions and optimizing inventory.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for teamwork.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be open to occasional travel across Southern Ontario.
**Qualifications Education**:
- Minimum of a Diploma in Dental Assisting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
**Certifications**:
- Certification from a recognized purchasing or supply chain management association (e.g., Supply Chain Canada, SCMP designation) is an asset.
