About the Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Manager to oversee and manage all contractual elements of project execution. The ideal candidate will guide the process from bidding and negotiation through to contract follow-up and final closure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct all contractual aspects of project execution.
- Manage procurement team activities throughout the project lifecycle, including planning, coordination, and execution:
- Draft and prepare term sheets and other relevant documentation.
- Negotiate and administer contracts post-award.
- Ensure effective and efficient contract management and order fulfillment.
- Align with project financial models.
- Ensure compliance with local terms and conditions.
- Develop and continuously improve templates, progress reports and relevant documents.
- Conduct market analysis, develop procurement strategies, and manage supplier prequalification.
- Ensure supply chain sustainability, including environmental and health and safety.
- Utilize Vianode’s technical knowledge and commercial leverage to secure the best commercial and legal terms with suppliers.
Qualifications:
- Significant experience in procurement planning and execution for multibillion (large-scale) projects.
- Experience in contract management, particularly in EPCM/EPC support (a strong asset).
- Strong knowledge of local terms, conditions, and rates.
- Proven ability to negotiate and administer contracts.
- Excellent communication and correspondence management skills.
- Experience working across multiple continents or countries, managing different time zones and locations, with strong multi-cultural international experience (a significant asset).
- Commitment to health, safety, and sustainability standards.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Location: Initially Remote (home office). Will be required to be on-site at the execution phase.
