Who you are
As an integral member of the North America People Services (HR) team, you will provide dedicated Human Resources expertise to our Canadian Real Estate Management Services Group (REMS). You will be a strategic partner and contribute to the development of the business lines goals and programs as it relates its people strategy.
What you bring- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related.- 5+ years of Human Resources experience with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant Human Resources experience in a Sr. HR Business Partner capacity.- Experience working within a matrixed environment with multiple locations- Demonstrate a good balance of strategy and execution.- Ability to form strong business relationships with both leaders and employees to establish credibility and amplify partnership.- Ability to deal with ambiguity and demonstrate good judgment/problem solving in resolving issues.- Strong skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Bonus skills and experience- Commercial real estate experience- CPHR Designation- Experience working with an HRIS (Workday)
What success looks like- Establish collaborative partnerships and influence with business leaders across the organization on key people results (hiring, retention, engagement, DE&I, etc).- Partner strategically with the our business to drive and deliver people strategies and goals.- Facilitate resolution of Human Resources issues in a timely manner.- Coach and direct leaders on performance management, employee relations, terminations, and conflict resolution.- Work within the business service line to understand training needs and develop initiatives ensuring a direct link to the business strategy.- Drive employee engagement through survey deployment, focus group meetings, action planning and manager training and development.- Work closely with extended People Services team members (Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation, etc.) to ensure proactive and effective strategies to attract, retain and empower top talent.
