**SCOPE**
Reporting to the Manager, Residence Life Operations, and functionally to the Manager, Summer Accommodation in the summer period, the incumbent supports day-to-day operations in Concordia Residences to ensure facilities are in good condition for occupancy by student residents and summer hotel guests. They work with the Residence Life team and Facilities Management to assess maintenance and repairs and monitor work carried out in the residence buildings and supports all operations processes in the residence buildings year-round.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Liaise between Residence Life team and other internal departments and vendors on day-to-day maintenance activities and coordination in support of the operations.
- Ensure work (all facilities related work with trades and cleaning services during the academic year and summer period) is executed in a timely fashion with a focus on quality and customer service.
- Perform regular inspections of the buildings, and follow-up on any required work or cleaning; track the progress of issues, and provide reports to the Manager, Residence Life Operations on the status of mitigation efforts.
- Accompany internal and external service providers when repairs are required.
- Coordinate student move-in and move-out processes in collaboration with the Manager, Residence Life Operations.
- Coordinate transition of Residence Life operations to Summer Accommodation and back again.
- Assist with the scheduling, ensuring completion of work and standard of cleaning is maintained for summer accommodation housekeeping team.
- Coordinate incident management activities in collaboration with Facilities Management based on requirements set by the manager; report on and track progress in mitigation efforts; coordinate moves of students, guests or equipment affected by incidents.
- Track all building supplies and oversee inventories and report replacement requirements; coordinate storage areas.
- Oversee all maintenance and repair requests. Produce reports, detect patterns of issues and report on need for replacement or issues that may require investigation; perform follow-up on all reported maintenance or incidents.
- Assist in planning for preventative and corrective maintenance schedules with the Manager, Residence life operations.
- Perform other duties as requested by the Supervisor(s).

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Diploma of Collegial Studies (3 year technical DEC) with 2-4 years of experience in facilities operations, hospitality, or related field.
- Good knowledge (Level 4) of spoken and written English. Basic knowledge (Level 3) of spoken and written French.
- Good working knowledge and understanding of computerized CMMS system (i.e. Maximo) is a definite asset.
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills, with a demonstrated ability to bring tasks to successful completion.
- Good knowledge (Intermediate level) of Word (able to input and format text), and Excel (able to format spreadsheets).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong interdepartmental relations.
- Commitment to excellence in providing quality service.
